• What is the inner reason for many Jewish people—even those who are otherwise quite open-minded and spiritually inclined—to be almost militantly against Jesus Christ? A similar reaction also exists in some Christians who strongly rebel against their early upbringing. What is the reason for this?

Fear, loyalty to tradition, and unconscious guilt can lead individuals to reject truth without genuine inquiry. Whether through rigid adherence to inherited beliefs or reactive rebellion against them, both positions create blindness.
The Guide emphasizes the importance of questioning deeply held assumptions with openness and honesty. True spiritual freedom requires releasing fear-based loyalty and becoming willing to discover truth firsthand.
Only by doing so can we move beyond limitation, access deeper understanding, and open ourselves to greater spiritual nourishment.
